About the Role

This exciting new role will cover all the administrative elements of HR, giving the successful candidate exposure to recruitment, onboarding, managing the employee lifecycle, being a point of contact for HR queries and working on the implementation and maintenance of a new online HR System. This role will report into the Associate in People and Wellbeing.


  • Maintaining accurate and up to date staff files and personnel records (electronic and hard copy) including archiving, scanning and electronic filing.
  • Becoming an HRIS super-user and contributing to the development and maintenance of the HR System.
  • Responsible for the integrity of all data held on the HR system
  • Onboarding new joiners including the administration of pre-employment screening checks for new hires and the creation of new starter packs
  • Assisting in general recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, coordinating interview schedules, and dispatching recruitment related correspondence, including interviews, references and offer letters
  • Providing accurate and timely responses and communication with the MJ Hudson workforce, responding to queries and requests as appropriate
  • Drafting policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that administrative processes are undertaken in line with MJ Hudson’s policies and values
  • Supporting the creation of ad hoc reports including charts, tables and slides for presentations.
  • Wellbeing and market standards research.
  • General administrative tasks required by the rest of the People and Wellbeing team.
