About the role

An excellent opportunity has come up for a paralegal to join our firm on a 6 month fixed contract to assist the general counsel of the Firm with internal corporate matters. A large element of the role will revolved around assisting on a key capital markets transaction. The successful applicant will be considered for a training contract with the Firm, on satisfactory completion of the fixed term contract.

Key tasks and Responsibilities

  • Virtual data room management and administration
  • Liaising with our external lawyers and in-house teams on a daily basis
  • Verification exercise
  • Preparing board minutes
  • Drafting ancillaries
  • Various administrative tasks

Candidate Profile

  • Must have completed the LPC
  • Previous experience working as paralegal or legal assistant
  • Exceptional communication skills and a high standard of written English
  • Excellent research and administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Some working knowledge of, and/or interest in the alternative assets industry
  • A flexible can-do nature
  • Confidence in dealing with people from all levels of the business
  • Must be immediately available.
