MJ Hudson Quantitative Solutions is a software and managed service team which provides first-class, highly customisable, fintech risk solutions and is well recognised as a leading RegTech solution. The Quantitative Solutions team has a passion for finance and technology with a strong commitment to research and development in order to continuously innovate and improve client solutions within an open and collegiate environment. The core fintech solution is RiskMonitor®, an award-winning institutional risk aggregation and reporting application which provides an independent appraisal of investment risk compliance and financial risk exposures. RiskMonitor ® produces customisable risk reporting suitable for boards, risk committees and investors as well as risk data required for regulatory submissions.
Having recently expanded to offer a SaaS model for risk and regulatory reporting and with a growing number of clients being onboarded, MJ Hudson Quantitative Solutions is looking for a Fund Analyst to join our team in Guernsey. As a Fund Analyst you will be responsible for liaising with clients including hedge funds, real estate and private equity funds and banks. The liaison will involve support in the delivery of managed risk reporting services and deployment of licensed solutions. The Fund Analyst will be expected to provide input to the development and customisation of the risk reporting and to enhance the user experience of the Dashboard. The Fund Analyst will be expected to be self-driven, capable of acquiring the necessary expertise in financial analysis including undertaking professional qualifications. The role would suite a motivated and ambitious team-player with good communication skills looking to assume and take responsibility within a young, dynamic fintech team. The ideal candidate would be looking to gain deep knowledge of financial market data and instruments within the financial risk and regulatory reporting landscape.
• Re-formatting and inputting data from Valuation Documents to produce performance reports
• On-boarding new funds / portfolios
• Testing Dashboard releases
• Liaison with clients, ensuring data received in correct format and in a timely manner
• Contributing to technical documentation and user manual for clients
• Updating key indices
• Suggesting / providing feedback for Dashboard updates
• Support business development initiatives via participation at periodic business development meetings
• Other ad hoc projects as required
• High level of IT proficiency (Excel, Word, Powerpoint as minimum)
• Superior quantitative skills
• Basic finance knowledge and interest required
• Customer service experience desirable
• Good communication skills and professionalism

• Positive work ethic
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to undertake relevant qualifications (CFA / CISI)
