Eamon is a corporate and investment funds lawyer, with experience in secondaries, LP representation, co-investments, M&A and private fund formation. He represents a number of GPs, pension funds, family offices, fund of funds, and national governments.
Eamon is an Associate Fellow of University of Oxford (Saïd Business School). Eamon teaches on finance and MBA courses at the Saïd Business School and is a tutor of the Oxford Private Markets course which was designed in 2021. Eamon (virtually) splits his time between London and Zurich. He moved from London to Zurich in 2019 with his wife and two children.

Prior to help founding MJ Hudson in 2010 (including forgoing income for nine months and re-mortgaging his family home in the process), Eamon was at King & Wood Mallesons (formally SJ Berwin) and Proskauer Rose (Boston and London).

Eamon is a regular commentator and speaker on private equity industry-related issues and is on the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) committee created to standardise the LPA.

He retired in 2020 from boxing and Irish / Gaelic football following unsuccessful careers in both…. Eamon is a keen amateur contact sports coach and from 2021 is manager of the Oxford Ladies Irish / Gaelic Football team.
