LGPS Investment Costs – Measurement and Management

Cost transparency is a key topic which is driving both the regulatory agenda and fiduciary requirements of European Pension Funds.  As LGPS funds prepare for the implementation of MiFID II in January 2018, the challenges and opportunities of this new landscape will coincide with the transition considerations of transferring administering scheme assets to the new investment pools. This half day seminar will give LGPS Officers and interested Members an opportunity to question the implications of these changes for their funds from a regulatory, adviser and fund manager perspective.

A particular highlight is the Keynote talk by Chris Sier, the newly appointed Chair of the FCA Working group developing the standardised reporting framework for investment costs.
