Matthew Hudson to speak at European Markets for US Alternative Managers: Opportunities & Pitfalls (IFI Global) Conference
in New York
O)n April 17th, Matthew Hudson will speak at the European Markets for US Alternative Managers: Opportunities & Pitfalls (IFI Global) Conference at The Cornell Club, in New York.
The conference will focus on:
- What delegation rule changes mean for US managers
- Fund structuring choices in Europe
- ManCo hosting platform options
- Fund governance: offshore developments
How US managers should access European markets is becoming complex. Brexit means changes to delegation rules for third country managers including the US. The EU’s focus on non-cooperative offshore jurisdictions complicates domiciliation decisions. BEPS and regulatory changes make fund structuring more difficult. On April 17 experts from the US and Europe will examine what’s happening as well as looking at fund governance offshore and in the EU.
Matthew’s panel takes place at 10:00am:
Fund Structuring Options for US Managers
What US managers need to know about regulatory & tax changes in Europe (ie BEPS, the ATAD, the EU’s black & grey lists etc) when structuring funds for these markets.
