The Firm has a significant track record in advising on secondaries, acting for both buyers and sellers as well as intermediaries. Unlike many of our competitors, we have lawyers that specialise in secondary transactions. We act on both direct portfolio secondaries ('secondary directs') and funds secondaries (sale of a pool of fund interests).
We seek to understand the important commercial and legal drivers behind secondaries and, importantly, how secondary sales differ from standard M&A transactions.
